Our Father, which art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
Forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation
And deliver us from evil
For Thine is the Kingdom , the Power
And the Glory, forever and ever
AMEN

Let us pray …
That strength and courage abundant be given to all who work
for a world of reason and understanding. That the good that
lies in each of our hearts may day by day be magnified.
That we will come to see more clearly not that which divides
us, but that which unites us. That each hour may bring us
closer to a final victory, not of nation over nation, but of
ourselves over our own evils and weaknesses.
That the true spirit of this Christmas Season, its joy, its
beauty, its hope, and above all, its abiding faith, may be
among us. That the blessings of peace be ours, the peace to
build and grow, to live in harmony and sympathy with others,
and to plan for the future with confidence
Peace to you and those you love.
Let Christmas come into our world and bring us warmth and
cheer.
Bring us faith in place of doubt and strength in place of
fear.
Bring us hope and bring us love to guide our hearts forever
...
Let Christmas come into our world and bring us all together.
May you give as He gave and Love as He Loved this holiday
season and every day.

by Robert Louis Stevenson
Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning
make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
for Jesus' sake.

We celebrate this time of year
because our Lord was born;
But let us not forget
That there are others who may mourn.
In times of sorrow, times of strife,
it's sometimes hard to smile,
So, Holy Spirit, please come in
and tarry for awhile.
Touch those who may be suffering;
Touch every wounded heart,
Touch all those burdened souls
When they feel distant, set apart.
Remove the pain, and fill their hearts
with happiness and mirth,
And let them all rejoice now
in The Savior's holy birth.
__________
O God, our Father, who didst send forth thy Son to be King
of Kings and Prince of Peace, grant that this Christmas he
may be born not only in our memories but anew in our hearts.
Help us come to this festive season seeking Him, as did the
shepherds of old, that we may go home a new way - new men,
new creatures in Christ.
O Lord, we stand before thee as one from whom no secrets are
hid.
May thy beauty transform our ugliness.
May thy love drive out our hate.
May thy goodness penetrate our evil.
May thy mercy forgive our unworthiness.
May thy hope calm our fears.
May thy humility shame our arrogance.
May thy joy invade our sorrow.
O God, do thou mend the threadbare garment of our spirits
that the star which first pointed the way may be the light
that shall lead us out of darkness, through Jesus Christ,
our Lord.

I pray for peace
Blessings and honor
Heaven right earth's despair
This is my Christmas prayer
For those that grieve
God will bring comfort
Laughter will rapture there
This is my Christmas prayer
I pray for you
That you triumph and conquer
And possess the strength you need to bear
This is my Christmas prayer
For those in need
There would be plenty
And each other's burdens share
This is my Christmas prayer
So let hope fill our hearts
Shine the light through the dark
All around the world and everywhere
I will pray
This Christmas prayer
See I pray that love will rule and reign
And I pray that time will rid the pain
Of this world as we learn to trust and care
This is ...
