The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said the bodies were found on County Road 95 around 4 a.m.
The victims have been identified as Ryan Fraizer and Joshua Carroll — both of the Seattle, Washington area. Deputies say both men install fiberoptic cable and were in the area performing contract work.
“I believe it was a newspaper delivery person, out and about this morning,” said Lt. Andre Reid with the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit. “Came across the two victims and notified police.”
At this time, officials don’t know if they were killed on County Road 95 or brought there. But Reid says both experienced trauma.
Autopsies will be done to determine the cause of death for both.
